Festivals
There are some nice festivals towards the end of summer. Vinayaka Chaviti and Krishna Janmashtami. Amma insists I call these festivals by these names. Left to me, I would call Vinayaka as "Elephant Jeji". But you know how Amma is. "No name-calling" - is what she says. "Let me shorten the names at least" - is what I said. Anyway, this is my blog. And I win!
We had a good time for VC. We could not buy a Ganesha idol. So Amma decided to make one herself. And how did she do that? She took MY play-dough. Mine!!! And made an idol.
Not bad, I would say. At least, she used the play-dough better than I do :-)
I participated in the Puja with a lot of enthusiasm. I guess all kids love VC - because all that you need to do is throw flowers and leaves at the idol. I surely liked it. This is how the same idol looked after the puja.
Good fun, isn't it?
A few days before VC was KJ. That was good fun too. Amma tried to dress me up as a small Krishna.
I look adorable, don't I? :-) Anyway, summer is coming to an end - and the next festival is 'Christmas'!
