Christmas Trip
Where did I stop? Oh yeah, we missed our flight. Nanna managed to find us standby seats on a next morning flight. And I was asleep.

Sravya Akka and Suraj Anna were lovely too. Sravya Akka was busy preparing for an exam she had the next day. Suraj Anna was a little shy in the beginning but soon warmed up to my charms. I even had him wear my antlers :-) He looked scared to carry me. Didn't he?
After having a very good time at Munny Doddamma's place (I am not sure Amma would agree. I gave her a very tough time - I was quite tired and cranky), we finally left for Ravi Mama's place. Needless to say, I was verrry tired and slept in car itself - like a baby :-)
It was past 9 PM by this time. And we needed to find a place to stay for the night. We found a hotel near the airport itself - Comfort Suites. I don't understand this, can someone explain it to me.... why are hotels more expensive near airports? Is it a case of being taken advantage of? Demand exceeding Supply? Exploitation?
Anyway, let me stick to the main story here. We went to the hotel at about 10 PM. I woke up by then :-) Nanna and Amma ordered a pizza. I helped them finish it off. Not by actually eating it, but by allowing them to eat it. That's a big help, isn't it? I am sure Amma and Nanna would concur!
We finally fell asleep at about midnight. We woke up by 5 AM, got ready quickly and left for the airport. After repeating the same hassles as the last night, we reached our gate and waited. And waited. And waited.
Waited till the airline guys announced that our 'standby' seats were available. Hurrah.... that means we did not have to take that torturous Columbus - Charlotte - Pittsburgh - Philadelphia route. We got the last row seats. We finally began our Christmas trip!
We landed in Philadelphia soon and met Ravi Mama and Rama Atta. They sure seemed smaller! Well, probably because I grew taller since they last saw me :-) We quickly loaded our luggage (which arrived the night before itself) into the car, fixed the carseat and started our drive to New Jersey.
I was quite excited to find a new house to explore. I quickly gave Ravi Mama and Rama Atta a lesson in baby-proofing their house :-) All in all, I should say I gave quite a tough time to them both.
We visited Munny Doddamma's house the next day. Srinivas Peddananna tried making me laugh by making funny faces - but quickly gave up. Instead, in Ravi Mama, he found a good disciple and they started discussing something called the rice-session and shares.
